The headlights of the 3th gen Dodge Ram pickup truck must be properly maintained to ensure full visibility when driving at night. If one of your headlights stops working properly, you should look to replace the broken bulb as soon as possible. A replacement headlight can pick up at your local car store. You are legally required to have fully operational high low beam h4 headlight bulbs before taking your vehicle on the road.
Pull the lever on the driver’s side of the vehicle when the hood explodes. Disconnect the positive and negative terminals of the battery.
Use the screwdriver to loosen the three mounting screws that hold the h4 led bulb conversion cover in place. This step will give you access to the headlight assembly.
Remove the two mounting screws from the assembly with the socket wrench. Bolts should locate near the grill. Pull the headlight of the vehicle and disconnect the electrical connector behind the bulb.
Turn the bulb and take it out of its box. By inserting the new halogen bulb, make sure that your hands do not touch the glass as the natural oil of your hands can break the bulb. Turn the new bulb so that it is firm in place.
Replace the white h4 headlight and electrical connectors following the removal steps backward. Connect the battery terminals and start the engine. Involve the headlights to make sure they are working properly.
